Immersive Dining Performance
This project is an immersive dining performance currently in development, imagining new rituals for future ecosystems and non-human life after climate change. It fills the spaces that science cannot fully explain with imagination and sensory experience, constructing a world shaped by future environmental conditions and emerging forms of life.
The project begins with a question: are humans the only beings capable of ritual and memory? Through speculative organisms, dining, sound, performance, and spatial storytelling, audiences are invited not simply to observe the work, but to enter another system of existence. Within this world, dining becomes more than consumption — it transforms into a ceremonial act of mourning, reflection, remembrance, and recording for future species and disappearing forms of life.
Rather than focusing on explanation, the work prioritises sensation and atmosphere. The exhibition space functions as a living ecological system where the boundaries between human and non-human presence begin to blur, allowing audiences to experience unfamiliar relationships and ways of being.
